The weakness discovered by the hackers is the WordPress Blog. Many may have never considered a blog to be worthy of a hacker's attention, yet with the way that advertising and marketing dollar potential have soared, that's what sets a hacker off on their hunt for a victim.

The hacker attacks on WordPress Blogs take the person who wants to come to a particular blog to a different site that’s full of ads, many of them obscene and many of them virus filled, which obviously does not present what was the assumed landing point blog in the best light. There are various ways through which someone can make money blogging, even if it will take a lot of time and effort and you get very small returns in the beginning. If you’ve been blogging for a while now, you’re probably wondering about what backlinks are, and how they can help you make money blogging more effectively.  Backlinks, which are also called “incoming links”, are links to your blog or blog pages that are put up on another blog or website.  If a fellow blogger puts up a link that directs his readers to your site, that in itself counts as a backlink.

This might all seem like an easy matter, but the truth is that backlinks pack a bigger punch than you would expect them to, especially when it comes to increasing your search engine ranking.  The more backlinks your blogger has, the higher its rank on search results will be.  Likewise, your blog will rank higher than another blog in search results for the same keyword if your site has more backlinks coursing to it.

Some backlinks are even better at getting Google’s attention than others.  These backlinks have keywords that your blog is already focused on, and another kind of backlink called “anchor text” contains these keywords and leads the reader to a specific blog post on your site.  Here are a few tips on how you can get more of these links and land higher on search engine rankings:

1.  Comment on other blogs:
